Curious Cinema: A Guide to Unusual Movies is a blog for movie fans who want to learn more about the science, history, and/or mythology behind some of the greatest cult and genre movies ever made. Using both primary and secondary sources including, but not limited to, non-fiction books, articles, podcasts, and videos, I’ll inform the reader through long form posts in an easy-to-understand manner about just how close a movie’s fiction comes to reality. As they say, truth is stranger than fiction, and sometimes a lot more fascinating – and in some cases – more terrifying than anything Hollywood’s best screenwriters can dream up.
